The “Bota” or goat skin drinking vessel, traces its origins back to Spain. It was probably the Basque shepherds who pioneered this particular design to carry wine with them during their long treks into the mountains. We have taken the traditional styling and brought it up to date. The outer skin, made from suede cowhide leather, is very durable and gains in character with aging. Our twist is to make the inner bottle or bladder in modern materials that will allow you to put this part through the dish washer. Naturally it is BPA free. It comes complete with shoulder strap and holds just under a litre of liquid.
