This is the baby of the Isle Royale family and it looks like being just as successful as its two older siblings.
Frost River make packs like they used to be made. High quality, natural materials constructed by Master Craftsmen. All packs are made in Duluth, Minnesota at the very heart of canoe country and in an area that offers some of the best possible wilderness to explore.
Along the USA and Canadian borders are where Trappers, Explorers, Geologists and many more brave folk set out to find their fortune. They needed equipment that was dependable and which would last for years.
Today Frost River still make packs that meet these criteria. Strong 510gm waxed cotton canvas teamed with premium harness leather, soft buckskin pads and solid brass hardware allows this bag to have a lifetime guarantee free from any material or manufacturing defects. There are not many products today that carry this type of endorsement.
The Isle Royale Mini is the smallest in the Isle Royale family but still boasts a size and style perfect for a weekend in the woods. It keeps a narrow shape, ideal for travelling on tight trails and through brush.
Two vertical pockets sit on the back, either side of an axe sleeve, and there is an internal map pocket. Drawstring adjusters enable you to pull it in very tight when used just as a day pack, plus it has a double canvas base for extra protection
