We attended a new auto jumble organised by Mark Woodward at the Three Counties Show Ground in January. It turned out to be a refreshing start to the year and surprised us in the number of visitors Mark managed to attract. One big plus of this venue was the ability to take car and trailer indoors which, if the weather been wet, would have been a great bonus. As it happened it was very cold but gloriously sunny. The café on site served a fantastic cooked breakfast all day and allowed traders and the public time to have a seat in the warm and enjoy a Full English Breakfast.

There were some great Series 1 Land Rovers on display and many of the usual culprits selling their wares. Graham Holding (he of the white beard fame!) looked winter square in the eye and set up outside with all his military bits and pieces. He even had a smile on his face for much of the day so trade must have been brisk.

Overall this was a good first time event and one I hope Mark will continue with next year. We were home by 4.00pm with our feet up and a steaming mug of tea. A good day was had by all!
